Joe Lewels is an internationally-known speaker, researcher and author who searches for the deeper meaning behind the UFO and contact-experience mysteries.  He does this by putting these phenomena in the context of human history, the origins of religion, and the latest findings in science, particularly quantum physics.  

He is the author of two books:

The God Hypothesis: Extraterrestrial Life and

Its Implications for Science and Religion

And

Rulers of the Earth: Secrets of the Sons of God

Lewels has also written numerous articles on a variety of new age issues.

During this presentation, Joe Lewels will discuss the core of his findings after 15 years of research into the UFO mystery: that we live in an intelligent, conscious universe and that our lives are full of meaning and purpose.  He explains why we should all be alert for meaning in our lives and in the signs which guide us on our true path.

His research has taught him that the true nature of the human condition has been hidden from the public by powerful institutions, yet the truth is available to anyone who seeks it out. Lewels breaks down the false fronts presented to us by scientific, religious, cultural and educational institutions and presents the truth about who we are and why we are here.

As part of his program he will discuss specific case studies from his files, as an investigator, of reports of human contact with non-human intelligent beings. He will then illustrate how today's reports of contact with extraterrestrials relate to the experiences found in ancient texts, Biblical sources and in shamanic journeys of primitive cultures.

Lewels holds a Ph.D. in journalism from the University of Missouri and has worked as a communication consultant for the U.S. Department of Justice, as editor of the Freedom of Information Digest, editor of the U.S. Army Aviation Digest Magazine, as a captain and reconnaissance pilot for the U.S. Army in the Republic of South Vietnam, as chairman of the department of mass communication at the University of Texas at El Paso and as a financial advisor in the financial services industry.

He is also a certified hypnotherapist and a certified past-life regression therapist through the American Institute of Hypnotherapy.
