Can the
concept of Reincarnation be proven?
If a
process of reincarnation exists in the universe, it should be testable
through the tools of modern science, or so asserts cosmologist Paul Von
Ward, author of The Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation and
other books.
After
years of research on various types of reincarnation cases, Paul has
found that without recourse to psychic readings, hypnotic regression, or
spirit guidance, a scientific case can be made for reincarnation.
Thousands of proposed past-life connections can be more logically
explained by a natural psychoplasm or soul genome that
transmits info-energetic patterns from one life to another than by any
other theory. Research suggests that our physical features and the ways
we think, react emotionally to life events, interact with others, and
focus our creativity may all be influenced by the experiences of one or
more humans who lived in the past.
If
reincarnation is real for the Dalai Lama or any one person, it is
equally likely that all humans are reincarnations of an integral being
of consciousness that has evolved from the experiences of many lives.
Even if we do not know who they were, their imprints seem to show up in
this lifetime. Paul's new hypothesis of a psychoplasm involved
in human reproduction accounts for all of the tangible areas of evidence
for reincarnation. His case studies (famous people and not) support the
hypothesis and illustrate how reincarnation works in the real world.
Von Ward
has concluded that reincarnation serves the universe's need to capture
the benefits of each generation's learning. Reincarnation is to the
preservation of consciousness as the formula E=Mc2 is to the
conservation of energy in the physical universe. Such a phenomenon
would make it possible for the legacy of individual and group evolution
of consciousness to be transferred to future generations.
The
presentation provides natural explanations for karma and other concepts
in Eastern and Western spiritual concepts. Paul explores its
meaning for one's daily decisions and actions, making it possible for a
wider conscious awareness in the human exercise of free will.

provides an overview of the ongoing project on which the book and the
presentation are based.
About
Paul Von Ward,
MSc & MPA.
As an interdisciplinary cosmologist, Paul combines the physical and
natural sciences, psychology, and cultural history. He researches and
describes the emerging new story of the universe and its Homo sapiens.
In the role of "cosmic puzzle master" he seeks to fill the blanks in
our universe's crossword puzzle.
An
independent scholar for almost two decades, Paul received degrees from
Harvard University (MPA in 1974) and Florida State University (MSc in
1962), from which he also received his BA (Phi Beta Kappa) in 1961.
From 1962 to 1965, he served in the U.S. Navy as a line officer. As a
State Department Foreign Service Officer from 1965 until 1980, he served
in diplomatic posts in France, Martinique, Sierra Leone, and the
Dominican Republic, as well as in policy and management positions in
Washington, DC. Paul founded the Washington-based nonprofit Delphi
International (CEO from1980-1995) to provide cross-cultural exchanges
and professional training. He is a member of the Institute of Noetic
Sciences, Mensa, Association for Humanistic Psychology, American
Federation of Scientists, MUFON, and other organizations.
Paul
traveled professionally to one hundred countries for the State
Department and Delphi. His foreign languages are Spanish and French.
Paul trained in clinical psychology and started his professional career
as a Protestant minister. He then devoted thirty years to public
service as naval officer, diplomat, and nonprofit leader.
Subsequently, he has published four major books:
The
Soul Genome: Science and Reincarnation
(2008) analyzes the scientific evidence for reincarnation and suggests
that his hypothesized psychoplasm or soul genome can reasonably account
for the correspondences between many humans and their postulated
previous past lives.
Gods, Genes and Consciousness: Nonhuman Intervention
in Human History (2004) traces the history of "the gods" and
their influence on religion, and its impact on modern society as it
relates to the modern UFO phenomenon and the current fragmentation of
human consciousness.
Our Solarian Legacy: Multidimensional Humans in a Self-Learning
Universe (2001) places the forgotten and suppressed human legacy
in the context of a universe created to experience its own potential and
evolve in a self-conscious manner.
Dismantling the Pyramid:
Government by the People (1981) analyzed dysfunctional aspects
of self-perpetuating bureaucratic government in the U.S. and proposed
reforms.
Paul’s
recent books will be available for signing at our August program.
