We've read tons of books, have been to several workshops, we meditate,
practice positive thinking and faithfully repeat our daily affirmations.
Why then does it still feel like there's something missing in our life?
Why do we continue to struggle with issues of self-worth in spite of a
successful career or an advanced degree? Perhaps it's a healthy body, a
nurturing relationship or a deep connection to a Higher Power that has
been persistently elusive.
Breakthroughs in the fields of Biology, Quantum Physics, and Psychology
are uncovering the answers to these questions. While we've long
suspected the impact that beliefs play in our lives, we've primarily
attempted to change limiting beliefs at the level of the conscious mind
(affirmations, workshops, and bookshelves full of self-help books).
Neuroscientists now tell us that the subconscious mind regulates as
much as 95% of our daily life. Long term memory, behavioral habits,
beliefs about your body, God, life and death, your intellectual worth,
morality, beliefs about how attractive you are, how much money you
should make; all these beliefs and billions more are stored in the
subconscious mind. The vast majority of these powerful and limiting
concepts have been passed down to us from generation to generation. We
downloaded many of these beliefs in our childhood as the adults in our
lives pasted on to us what they were taught. Sometimes, the beliefs we
inherited are life enhancing and serve us well as we mature. It's the
limiting, self-negating beliefs that keep us stuck and prevent us from
manifesting our highest potential. Unless we make the change in our
belief patterns at the level of the subconscious mind, those old
programs will continue to shape and limit what we are capable of
experiencing in our lives.
PSYCH-K(R) is a gentle and fun process that allows
us to directly access our innate wisdom and make changes that support us
in creating the life we long to live.
In this presentation, I will
briefly outline the philosophy, science, psychology and spirituality
behind the exciting change technology of PSYCH-K®. I will
demonstrate and teach the process that establishes communication between
our conscious and subconscious mind and attempt to give everyone a
first-hand experience of the PSYCH-K process.
‘secret to life' is BELIEF. Rather than genes, it is our beliefs that
control our lives. PSYCH-K is a set of simple, self-empowering
techniques to change your beliefs and perceptions that impact your life
at a cellular level.”
Bruce Lipton, PhD
Author, The Biology of Belief
About the Speaker:
opened her private practice as an Advanced Level PSYCH-K Facilitator in
January, 2008. She received her training from Rob Williams, the
originator of PSYCH-K; Bruce Lipton, PhD, a well known cellular
biologist and Dhebi DeWitz-Jensen, an Advanced Certified PSYCH-K
Life provided Marylou with
an urgent wake-up call in 2005 when a serious health challenge combined
with the life changing lessons of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. This
potent crisis launched an intensive search for answers to questions
- Why do healthy people
- Do our beliefs and
intentions define our reality?
- What are we here to
- How do we experience
full aliveness and joy?
with these questions in mind that Marylou was first introduced to PSYCH-K(R).
After reading Bruce Lipton's The Biology of Belief which
presents compelling scientific evident supporting the process of
PSYCH-K, she recognized the enormous potential this simple method
contained. This inspired her to take the training and test PSYCH-K out
in her own life. Results were immediate and impressive. Her lifetime
allergy to cats disappeared after one simple balance and she began
taking risks and actions that had not felt possible before. Previous
barriers to accomplishing her goals fell away as she experienced a new
freedom and inner strength.
A background in psychology, counseling and 12 Step Recovery work
provides a rich tapestry of life experiences that support Marylou's
PSYCH-K practice. Her work in business consulting, mediation, conflict
resolution, group facilitation and education all add substance and depth
to her work.
Marylou's approach is gentle, compassionate and focused. She provides
an environment in which her clients access their own inner strength and
innate wisdom, allowing them to powerfully move forward in the creation
of a purposeful life.
